+149.9%
Shares traded in a month
+347.0%
Ghanaian shares rose faster than any fund, bill or gold product we track, and the shares traded in a month reached 4.5 times the starting level over the same period. Prices rose because more people were buying — not because fewer were selling into a thin market.

Different periods and different risks — a single share is not a diversified fund, and none of these is a forecast. Shown together because a saver comparing them deserves to see them on one scale rather than four separate pages.
Every listed share
31 of 39 rose over the last 5 years (to Oct 2026). Price only — dividends are not published by the exchange, so these understate what a holder actually received.
What this page doesn’t show
- Dividends. The exchange’s monthly report defines dividend yield in its glossary and publishes it for no company. Every figure above is a price move only, so all of them understate what a holder received.
- What it costs to buy. Brokerage and levies of 1.5% to 2.5% each time you buy or sell, set by the exchange’s rules; ask your broker where in the range you will pay.
- Whether you could sell at these prices. Trading has risen sharply — the shares traded in a month are up 347% since Feb 2025 — but the Ghana Stock Exchange remains small. A quoted price is what the last trade happened at, and in any individual share that may have been some time ago.
- Anything about the company. Earnings, debt, management, sector conditions. A share is a claim on a business, and this page shows only what its price did.
Buying any of these means going through one of the 23 licensed dealing members. Each charges within the same range set by the exchange, so ask where in it you will pay, then choose on whether you can reach them and what else they will do for you.
